It's just horrible. I was in London over the weekend, and the Tottenham incident felt too close for comfort. Then last night there was rioting in Liverpool - less than a mile from my BiL & SiL's house. The shops in the city centre have shut early. I was planning to take the children to Tate Liverpool tomorrow - too scary
