in the last couple of days it has got properly cold, hats and scarves have come out, trees have gone up and parties have started. last year i was miserable over christmas and having a pretty grim time, this year the outlook is altogether brighter and (dare i say it) i am quite looking forward to my quiet little christmas.

Glad to hear you aren't grim this year! Quiet holidays are so nice...just a good time to relax and reflect. I'm looking forward to spending time with family members, and hopefully seeing some friends that I've been missing.
